Gambit

Sidebars

Mail Sync capture brings customer email onto your records today, and drafted follow-ups write the reply; the inbox sidebar comes later.

What to use today

You don't need a sidebar to get customer email into Gambit. Gambit Mail Sync captures your team's email and meetings onto the right account and deal, with nobody logging anything, and Draft follow-up on any record writes a reply that you open in your own mailbox. Both need a paid plan or a trial: Standard on a site of 11 or more users, or Advanced at any size once Advanced is available. See Mail Sync and Drafted follow-ups.

The Gmail sidebar is coming soon with Gambit Mail Sync.

What the sidebar will do

Once Google lists the add-on on Google Workspace Marketplace, your Google Workspace admin installs it for your domain. Open an email in Gmail on the web and the sidebar shows who you're talking to: their account and its owner, the health score with its top reason, and up to five open deals. From there you log the email to a record, create a deal or a follow-up from it, and, on paid plans, draft a reply that you insert yourself. It shows only the records Jira lets you open, and logging an email that Mail Sync already captured links the thread to your record instead of copying it.
