Ask a question and get a chart from your Jira deals

Gambit is a CRM that runs inside Jira Cloud. Type a question into its Ask bar in plain words. The answer comes from your deals in Jira, as a table or a chart. Pipeline, ARR and win rate are computed the same way each time. Save the chart to a Jira dashboard.

Free on Jira sites of up to 10 users.

Claire Avery asks for open pipeline by stage

Claire Avery, the CRO at Davis Hospitality, types "What's our open pipeline by stage this quarter?" into Ask. Gambit draws the chart from 30 open deals, $14.7M in all. Negotiation holds $7.67M and Proposal $6.44M. A short summary under the chart puts the result in words.

Each answer shows how it was built

Each answer shows the metric definitions, filters, dates, grouping and data freshness, worked out from the question. The model doesn't invent them. The freshness line reads "Data as of 10:42", and Jira changes take up to 15 minutes to appear.

Each part of the answer is a chip: metric, group by, filters, period, comparison and chart type. Change a chip and the chart redraws, with no new question. Type "only Enterprise" or "compare to last year", and Ask refines the same chart. On paid plans, you can add 20 follow-ups to a thread.

Keep the chart on the Jira dashboard your team opens

Pin a chart to your Home, keep it in Reports, or put it on a Jira dashboard. The Gambit gadget works on classic and new Jira dashboards. Saved reports refresh for each viewer under their own permissions and use the same certified CRM metrics each time. When Riley Morgan opens Claire's chart, it shows $11.6M with the note "Excludes 4 deals you can't open".

For your Jira admin

Ask uses only the records the person asking can open in Jira.

Gambit's AI is included in your subscription, with fair-use limits. Each person can run up to 25 Ask analyses a day, within a monthly fair-use limit for each person; questions that fit a report don't count. Summaries and other automatic AI draw on their own monthly pool. Your admins set how many analyses each person can run a day, and can give a person more. Reports, search and everything else keep working.

Free on Standard for sites of 1–10 users: the whole CRM, industry packs and Ask, with about 60 to 100 Ask analyses a month; background capture, summaries and drafts need a paid plan.

Questions and answers

How does Ask get its numbers?

Ask works each answer out from your question. It lists the metric definitions, filters, dates and grouping it used, so you can check each figure. It counts only the records you can open in Jira. Pipeline, ARR and win rate use the same definitions each time.

How many Ask analyses come with each plan?

Free on Jira sites of up to 10 users. Those sites get about 60 to 100 Ask analyses a month. On paid plans, each person can run up to 25 Ask analyses a day, within a monthly fair-use limit. Questions that fit a report don't count. Your admins set the daily number and can give a person more.

What do people see when I share an Ask report?

Share copies a link to your Ask thread. A colleague who opens it sees your questions re-run on the records they can open. Each result carries its own total note. A saved report on a Jira dashboard re-runs the same way for each viewer, under that viewer's own Jira permissions.
