Revenue leaders get pipeline figures they can check
Revenue leaders type a question in plain words and get a pipeline table or chart from the deals in Jira. Each answer lists the definitions, filters, dates and grouping it used. A chart saved to a Jira dashboard refreshes for each person who opens it. When a total leaves out deals a viewer can't open, it says so.

Leadership puts the quarter's pipeline on a dashboard
At 4:30 in the Davis sample day, Claire Avery, the chief revenue officer, asks for open pipeline by stage. The chart totals the 30 open deals that close this quarter at $14.72M. Highgate's $2.12M renewal stays outside it, because that deal closes on Jan 31, 2027. Claire saves the chart to a Jira dashboard.
Davis Hospitality and its people are invented sample data. The hotel and cruise companies are real names used as sample accounts.
One question, and each person sees their own numbers
Riley Morgan, an account executive, asks Claire's question too. Riley's answer is $11.6M from 26 deals, with the note "Excludes 4 deals you can't open". In a pipeline review, that note shows the four private deals explain the gap to Claire's $14.72M.
On Jira Free, everyone on the site sees every record; private deals need Jira Standard or above.
The same question, answered for the chief revenue officer and for an account executive. Davis Hospitality is sample data.
Leaders check how each number was built
A leader can edit each definition, filter and date of an answer directly, as a chip. Pipeline, ARR and win rate use one calculation each time they appear, on a screen or in a report. A sales manager and a rep looking at the same records see the same figure. Each deal's owner sets its Forecast category as their own call. Gambit keeps the history of each deal's category, amount and close date from the day you install it.
For your Jira admin
Gambit's AI is included in your subscription, with fair-use limits. Each person can run up to 25 Ask analyses a day, within a monthly fair-use limit for each person; questions that fit a report don't count. Summaries and other automatic AI draw on their own monthly pool. Your admins set how many analyses each person can run a day, and can give a person more. Reports, search and everything else keep working.
Free on Standard for sites of 1–10 users: the whole CRM, industry packs and Ask, with about 60 to 100 Ask analyses a month; background capture, summaries and drafts need a paid plan.
Questions and answers
How do pipeline totals handle deals a leader can't open?
A total that leaves deals out says how many, such as "Excludes 4 deals you can't open". So a sales manager knows the figure is partial before treating it as complete. Saved reports re-run for each colleague on the records that person can open.
Can leaders keep pipeline charts on a Jira dashboard?
Yes, save an answer as a report, then add it to a Jira dashboard as a Gambit widget or gadget, or pin it to Home. The report refreshes for each person who opens it, under that person's Jira permissions, and uses the same metric definitions each time.
