Move from Salesforce, HubSpot or Pipedrive, with Undo
Bring your Salesforce, HubSpot or Pipedrive exports, or a spreadsheet, into Jira, and undo the import for 14 days. Gambit is a CRM that runs inside Jira Cloud. A dry run checks each row before anything is written. Your files are read in your browser and written into your Jira site as work items.
Free on Jira sites of up to 10 users.
An admin runs the import in eight guided steps
The import runs from Settings › Import as a guided wizard. Every open deal moves, plus closed deals from the last 36 months, or all of them.
- Pick Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive or another CSV, and drop in your export files.
- Match the owners in your old CRM to Jira users, by email and then by name. Anyone without a match goes to Needs an owner, where your reps claim the records that are theirs.
- Confirm where each object goes and how far back to bring history.
- Check the proposed field mapping.
- Run the dry run to check each row and list possible duplicates, with nothing written.
- Read the dry-run report, adjust, and run it again as often as you like.
- Start the import and watch progress by phase.
- Read the report of what was created, updated, matched to existing records and skipped.
Only members of the app's admin group can run an import, because it reads and changes records across the site.
Check your pipeline to the cent, and undo for 14 days
The import report checks your open pipeline against your source, per currency, to the cent. It checks the last 12 months of closed-won deals the same way. Undo removes what the import created, for 14 days. Records someone has changed since are kept, unless you choose to remove those too. Close the tab whenever you like. When you come back to Settings › Import, the run resumes without uploading your files again. If Jira limits your site's requests, the import pauses and then continues on its own. Run a trial import, keep working in your old CRM for a week, and then import again for the changes.
Bring email history across with your records
Email history comes across from Salesforce and HubSpot exports. Email from the last 90 days becomes Conversation work items, one per thread. Older email, activities and notes are kept per account as Imported history on its timeline. Moving from Pipedrive, connect your mailboxes to Gambit Mail Sync, a separate app, and your email history comes from there.
Mail Sync requires an active Gambit subscription.
Capture needs a paid Gambit plan.
Microsoft 365 users connect their own mailbox wherever their IT allows it, or IT connects everyone; Google Workspace capture is connected by the IT admin; capture is labelled beta; personal Gmail opens after Google's review, with a waitlist.
Davis Hospitality, its accounts and its deals are sample data.
For your Jira admin
Imports on Jira Free work the same way and create the same records.
On Jira Free, everyone on the site sees every record; private deals need Jira Standard or above.
Large imports and older history are held in Gambit's storage on Atlassian's cloud for your site. Nothing goes outside Atlassian.
Questions and answers
Can I move from Salesforce or HubSpot?
Yes. Import Salesforce, HubSpot or Pipedrive exports, or a spreadsheet. A dry run checks each row before anything is created, and Undo lasts for 14 days. Gambit matches owners to Jira users by email, then by name. The import report checks your open pipeline against your source, to the cent.
What happens to owners who aren't on our Jira site?
Their records arrive with no owner, in Needs an owner, and keep the old owner's name. Your reps open Needs an owner and claim the records that are theirs. Or you choose an owner during the import. Other owners are matched to a Jira user by email first, then by name.
Can Gambit import straight from Salesforce, HubSpot or Pipedrive?
Not yet. Imports start from export files today. Direct imports that sign in to Salesforce, HubSpot or Pipedrive arrive in January 2027, on paid plans. A Gambit admin turns them on in Settings › Integrations. They use the same wizard, dry run and report.
