Gambit or Salesforce, for a team that works in Jira
Choose Gambit over Salesforce when your reps already work in Jira. Gambit is a CRM that runs inside Jira Cloud. Deals, accounts and contacts are Jira work items. Your pipeline sits in the same site as support and engineering work. Move from Salesforce with a dry run and 14 days to undo.
Free on Jira sites of up to 10 users.
Priced on every user of your Jira site.
Reps work the pipeline and Forecast categories in Jira
Reps see their deals by stage on a Jira board or in a grid, each with a Forecast category. Drag a deal to a new stage, or change an amount or close date in the grid, and the deal's Jira work item is updated. Each deal's Forecast category is Commit, Best case, Pipeline or Omitted. When a total leaves out deals someone can't open, it says so in words: "This excludes 3 deals you can't open".
Your engineers see the revenue at stake on their bugs
When an engineer opens a P1 bug, they see each customer it affects by name. Each customer shows its ARR, renewals due in 60 days and open deals. Epics and other software work items carry the same customer panel. A bug linked to a customer's support request picks up that account as well.
Run both demos against these seven checks
| Check | Gambit | Ask the Salesforce team to show you |
|---|---|---|
| Pipeline and Forecast categories | Deals on a Jira board or grid, each with a Forecast category. | The pipeline total a rep sees when one deal in it is hidden from them. |
| Deal access | Your Jira permissions, plus private deals for the people you choose, on Jira Standard and above. | A private deal, and what a rep without access sees when they try to open it. |
| Revenue on Jira work | Each affected customer's ARR, renewals and open deals, on P1 bugs and other software work items. | An affected customer's ARR on a P1 bug in Jira. |
| Reports | Ask in plain words for a chart that shows its filters and dates, then save it to a Jira dashboard. | One saved report, opened by two people with different access. |
| AI | Next steps on paid plans, each accepted by a person, with Undo. Customer data is not used to train models. | Which AI changes a person must accept, and how to undo one. |
| Moving your records | Salesforce exports or a spreadsheet, owners matched to Jira users, email history included, and Undo for 14 days. | A full export of opportunities, activities and email, and the format it comes in. |
| Price | Free on Jira sites of up to 10 users. Priced on every user of your Jira site. Standard is $2.50 per user a month for 11 to 100 users, billed by Atlassian. | The price per user at your team size, and who counts as a user. |

Admins move Salesforce records and email history to Jira
A member of Gambit's admin group imports your Salesforce exports or a spreadsheet from Settings › Import. Salesforce owners are matched to Jira users by email, then by name. Anyone without a match lands in Needs an owner for reps to claim. Email history comes across with the records. Nothing is created until you've checked the dry run and its duplicate matches. You can undo the import for 14 days.
The counts shown are sample data.
For your Jira admin
On Jira Free, everyone on the site sees every record; private deals need Jira Standard or above.
Gambit's AI is included in your subscription, with fair-use limits. Each person can run up to 25 Ask analyses a day, within a monthly fair-use limit for each person; questions that fit a report don't count. Summaries and other automatic AI draw on their own monthly pool. Your admins set how many analyses each person can run a day, and can give a person more. Reports, search and everything else keep working.
Questions and answers
Does Gambit sync with Salesforce?
No. Gambit has no live sync with Salesforce, so you move once with an import. Load your Salesforce export files or a spreadsheet and check the dry run. You can undo the import within 14 days. Direct imports that sign in to Salesforce arrive in January 2027 on paid plans. They run once a Gambit admin turns them on.
Do reps need to work in Jira to use Gambit?
Yes. Gambit runs inside your Jira Cloud site. Reps open the pipeline, accounts and contacts in Jira and find deals in Jira search. Each rep is a user on your Jira site, and what they can open follows your Jira permissions. A rep moves a deal to its next stage by dragging it on a Jira board.
