Take a deal from quote to signed SOW to delivery in Jira
Gambit is a CRM that runs inside Jira Cloud. Its Professional services pack adds Quote and SOW work types, rate cards and a capacity plan. Your team sells, checks margin and hands off delivery in Jira. See each change first, remove it cleanly, and pay nothing extra.

Quotes and SOWs get their own Jira work types
The pack adds Quote and SOW work types to your CRM space. It adds an SOW in review stage to your Deal workflow, between Propose and Negotiate. A new version of a quote copies it and links the two as “supersedes”. A change order is an SOW of kind Change order, linked to the SOW it amends.
| Work type | Statuses |
|---|---|
| Quote | Draft, In review, Sent, Accepted, Rejected, Expired |
| SOW | Drafting, Internal review, Client review, Signed, Active, Complete, Cancelled |
From accepted quote to delivery epic, with Undo
Create quote on a deal fills in the account, hours, delivery role, practice and engagement model. The quote is priced from your rate card’s bill rate for that role. With no rate, it uses the deal amount. When the quote is accepted, Gambit proposes the SOW. Once a person approves, the SOW is created with each value carried across. The deal owner gets a proposal to mark the deal won once each original SOW on it is signed, active or complete. Start delivery creates the delivery epic with the contacts and a hand-off brief. On paid plans, AI writes the brief; otherwise it is filled in from a template. You can undo Start delivery for 7 days.
Check capacity and margin before you sign
You keep two tables in Gambit, edited in the grid or uploaded as CSV. The rate card holds each role’s bill rate and loaded cost rate. The capacity plan holds each role’s available hours a month. Each open deal with estimated hours, a delivery role and a planned start gets a Capacity fit. It is Green at 85% or below, Amber up to 100% and Red above 100%. The board shows it as a badge. Each quote shows its Quote margin %. That is the total minus estimated hours at the role’s cost rate, as a share of the total. Set a minimum margin, and a quote below it raises a discount approval, as does a discount over your threshold, 15% to start.

Questions and answers
Does the Professional services pack need a timesheet tool?
No. Delivery time comes from native Jira time tracking on the delivery epic and its child work items. Each night, Gambit updates each active SOW’s burn % and retainer balance from the time your team logs in Jira. At 80% burn, the person who owns the SOW gets a follow-up and a notification.
