The SaaS pack sets up Gambit for subscription sales

Gambit is a CRM that runs inside Jira Cloud. Its SaaS pack adds a Trial stage, New business and Expansion pipelines, and plan and seat fields. It adds a SaaS revenue dashboard and metrics such as ARR, net revenue retention and seat usage. You see each change before it installs, and the pack costs nothing extra.

Free on Jira sites of up to 10 users.

Track trials as their own stage, at 30% win probability

The pack adds a Trial stage to your Deal workflow, between Discover and Propose. Its pipelines carry win probabilities set for subscription sales. Expansion is a Deal type, so an expansion sits on the account as an ordinary deal. The deal owner gets a reminder 3 days before Trial end.

Retention metrics are defined once for Ask and Reports

Net revenue retention is start ARR plus expansion, minus contraction and churn, divided by start ARR. It counts the accounts that were customers when the period began. Gross revenue retention is the same without expansion. ARR is the sum of ARR on customer accounts. Seat usage is seats used against seats purchased. Expansion ARR is there too. The SaaS revenue dashboard shows net and gross revenue retention. Saved views list open expansion and trials ending in 14 days. Ask can chart net revenue retention by plan for last quarter.

The SaaS revenue dashboard: ARR on customer accounts of $18.6M, with net revenue retention and gross revenue retention defined once for Ask and Reports.

Approve a draft expansion deal when seats pass 90%

When seats used pass 90% of seats purchased, Gambit proposes a draft expansion deal for a person to approve. Seats used is a native Jira field you fill in or import. In the Health score, seat usage scores low below 50% and full above 85%. A plan downgrade in the last 90 days costs an account 15 points.

See a full SaaS pipeline on demo companies first

Add the pack’s demo dataset of fictional companies and people before your own deals are in. Remove the demo records when you’re done. Gambit admins install the pack from Settings › Packs. Its fields stay in Jira, searchable in JQL, if you remove the pack or uninstall Gambit. How packs install and come off
